Number of years on the governing body…. I joined the Governing Body as a Parent Governor in 2008 and became Chair in July 2014.
Reasons why I became a governor…. I went to Brandon School and both of my children have attended the school. My youngest son left in July 2014 to go to Durham Johnston School. I therefore have a great interest in the school, and now as a local business owner I am keen to increase the schools presence within the local community.
My school interests…. My background is in Human Resources. I’m now a self employed management consultant, and coach. So I am keen to contribute to the Governing Body on leadership, staffing and ensuring our children get a great start to their education.
